Albert

This is Albert.  He was found on the streets a few months ago. He is a very sweet and affectionate 6 month old little boy. The first night at our house he fell asleep in Beth’s lap, staring at her. She named him. At first we were afraid he was getting picked on by all the female felines in the house. He quickly learned to stay close to humans so he is often on my lap, under the desk while I work. Or on Dan’s desk, while he’s working.

He enjoys my raw treats as much as Moka, which is great! When he came in his coat was a little rough and he did not have too much energy. Within a couple of days he perked right up, his coat is shiny and soft and his eyes bright!

Mia and Albert used to chase each other all day. They sometimes played quite rough, but we were just happy they had each other…two terrorists! I was happy that Mia found someone to bite her hard because I had been getting worried about Dan inhaling all that cat hair…

And here is Albert playing nice:

And here is Albert…..

He is staying with us until his second round of shots after which he will start attending adoption days with the other foster babies.

UPDATE June 16: Albert has been going to adoption days without success. We are always happy to see him come back and secretly wish he does every time. But he does need a permanent home and family to love him. He loves to play in the grass and chase flies. He also likes playing with his buddy Moka since Mia was adopted.

Here are more recent pics of Albert being his awesome self  :)
